Leading Through the Holiday's - Gratitude Practice: Do It Daily

The last point for developing a gratitude practice- do it every day. Every. Single. Day. No matter what, no matter where, no matter when, find some time to intentionally practice gratitude however you choose to do that. Whether it’s through journaling, meditation, prayer, or something else, the point is not how you do it, but that you make time to do it regularly. Consistency is the key to really reaping the benefits of gratitude in your life and in your leadership.

I want to leave you with a reminder that you can behave your way to thinking, but you can’t think your way to behaving.
It's the beginning of a new year, and with the reset of the calendar tends to come the onslaught of New Years Resolutions. All those good habits you want to start, and bad habits you want to break- new year, new you! Right?!
You can’t fix your family. We’re coming up on the holidays, and with that comes a lot of time with family. It’s such a gift to be able to spend intentional quality time with those we love- although sometimes, it may seem like a gift that you wish you could return.

That’s right, you heard me correctly. I do want you to grow your leadership by practicing gratitude, but I don’t want you to take the easy way out by giving thanks for the “big” things- like family, health, faith.
